Liquid Fertilizer Plant Coming to Wilmont Location
Construction is tentatively scheduled to begin this fall, with the facility expected to be operational by the Spring of 2028.
The new facility will provide area producers with convenient access to a full lineup of liquid fertilizer products, including:- 32% UAN
- 28% UAN
- Ammonium Thiosulfate (ATS)
- Nitrogen stabilizers
- Zinc
- Boron
- Starter fertilizers
One of the most exciting features of this investment is the facility's 24/7 autonomous loading capability, allowing customers to quickly and efficiently load products whenever they need them. This added flexibility will help improve timeliness during the busiest application windows while supporting today's fast-paced farming operations.
Several key industry trends influenced our decision to invest in additional liquid fertilizer capacity. Increased nitrogen price volatility, along with the growing adoption of split nutrient applications, continues to drive demand for reliable, flexible access to liquid fertilizer throughout the growing season. The Wilmont location is strategically positioned to serve our customers with greater efficiency while strengthening New Vision's ability to meet future agronomic needs.
An additional advantage of this project is the existing crop protection warehouse located adjacent to the new liquid fertilizer site. This warehouse will be stocked with crop protection products, giving customers convenient access to both fertilizer and crop protection products from one centralized location.
This investment reflects New Vision Coop's continued commitment to providing our patrons with innovative infrastructure, dependable service, and the products needed to maximize productivity and profitability.
