DESCRIPTION:Who qualifies to attend and receive recertification credit?\nPrivate pesticide applicators whose certification expires in 2026 can attend one of the field days to fulfill their recertification requirement.\nAttending a field day in 2025 allows eligible applicators to avoid attending a workshop or taking the exam in January or February 2026.\nIf your certification expires in a different year\, contact Tana Haugen-Brown at thbrown@umn.edu or 763-260-4423 to confirm eligibility for recertification credit.\nNOTE: New applicators or applicators with expired licenses are required to take the exam to certify.  \nAbout Field Days\nAllow additional time to find parking and walk to the starting destination; in some cases\, paid parking is required.\nYou will be active outdoors\, including walking on uneven surfaces and stairs\, standing\, and bending over.\nBring additional water\, a rain poncho\, a hat\, sunscreen\, and bug repellent. Bring a camping/lawn chair for the field plot visit (optional).\nPrivate applicator participants must bring a photo ID and their applicator card for the field day check-in and attend from 7:30 a.m. to noon to receive credit.\nAll events are rain or shine\, so plan accordingly.\nMorning and afternoon refreshments\, lunch and water are provided.\nAudience\nIf a specific audience is desired\, keep the header and add the audience information below it. If not using\, remove all text. \nCost\n$100 (includes lunch and refreshments) \nInterested in attending for educational purposes only? You can register at a reduced rate of $50 if you do not need recertification credit. Lunch and refreshments are included.
